The Experience You Can Expect At The Stand 🍋

When shopping with The Stand Markets & Events you can expect to find a wide range of beautifully handcrafted artisan works & locally grown and produced food. We LOVE local performers and most often have LIVE LOCAL MUSICIANS & ENTERTAINERS! 

We plan each event to always keep the vendors and products fresh and unique for YOU! Many of our vendors create one-of-a-kind pieces as well as custom or wholesale orders. 

Bringing you something new to shop at every event is what we strive for. We take great pride in supporting local artisan works, local farmers, food producers and small local businesses and services.

We also appreciate the importance of repurposing products and the value of antiques and collectables and are proud to support those as well.   

While we have nothing against resellers such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Epicure, Sweet Legs, Color Street etc this is not an area that we serve. There are at times in a booked community event that that particular community has their local representatives they specifically request to include and we do honour those. Otherwise you will not find any third party representations at our farmers markets and events.

  • NAH, The Stand Market & Events does not charge a regular entrance fee for attending our markets! We want you to spend your money on what you came for(all the goodies from every one of our amazing local vendors!!!).

    You came out to our event, the least we can do is offer you FREE ENTRY & PARKING! What sort of host would we be otherwise???

  • We do get asked to put on fundraiser events that we support.

    With these events you will always find the expected entrance fees clearly advertised in advance. Along with what we are raising money for and how much WE are donating to the cause. We want you to know we are worth your trust, time and energy.

    If we aren't willing to donate how could we possibly ask you to?

  • The Stand Market & Events is as family friendly as they come. We strive to make all our events fun for the “little shoppers'' as well. We have done many events with petting zoos, little train rides, and parks nearby. We have joined many festivals to collaborate with for the FRESHEST events possible!

    We have had some busy hands wander a little too far in past situations, we just ask that bringing littles comes with the acknowledgement that they be closely watched and know, if they break something, the artisan be reimbursed for that loss.

  • YES to all the above!

    We are an outdoor market. All we require is that you are aware of others around you that may not enjoy such things bumping into them or leaving “presents” they could step in.

    (Also we really want to meet your alpaca)

    • They must be leashed(not the human children!) and safe and controllable for everyone's comfort and safety.(I guess that somewhat goes for the human children too!)

    • 💩Picked up after 😉

  • CASH is the only method of payment that ALL of our vendors accept.

    Other methods(credit & debit cards can be costly for them and those costs just get passed onto their customers, not fun!)

    Some will also accept e-transfer.

    HOWEVER we are usually very fortunate to have WIFI available for those booths that take card payments!

    We do ask that you simply come prepared, just in case there is an issue with a vendor's machine, WIFI cuts out or we are simply outside of a service area.
