Kismet Creek Farm Fun-raiser is ready for YOU & all your friends and family(except Fido, sorry Fido, you are welcome at THE STAND next time!) to explore all the personalities that reside on this registered non profit animal rescue sanctuary.

Karl Schoenrock, the owner, has created a place of love and acceptance over the past five years for ALL the creatures who come here whether it is for the animal residents for rest of their lives or us humans for only the day! With over 80 acres, this property has been operating as a farm for over a century. For decades now the farm has been in the Schoenrock family. Before becoming a rescue sanctuary it was a free range cattle farm.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A reduced admission fee of $5 per person(children 3 & under are always free)

Relaxed outdoor farm experience where you can snuggle, feed & take photos with all the animals. Lay out in the sun with your favourite book while the kids play in the kids play area. Bring your own picnic or enjoy some treats from our vendors.

CASH is a great idea at this event as WiFi can be fairly intermittent here. All vendors accept cash as well. some do offer debit or credit or e-transfer options as well.

Dress appropriately! HINT: stilettos are not recommended here folks! There are indoor washrooms with a baby change station and free parking.

There will be a raffle prize filled with products & services donated by our community vendors. HOW DO I WIN? Great question! When you make a purchase from one of our vendors that day you will receive a ticket to enter(it’s just that easy folks).

DID YOU KNOW…THE STAND MARKET EVENTS is donating 50% of all vendors fees directly to the farm? ALSO that many of the vendors have chosen to also donate portions of their sales directly to Kismet Creek Farm? YUP, it’s true.

DONATIONS!!!! Karl and all the residents are always very grateful for donations.

TIME & SKILLS is always a gift. Volunteers are required for MANY tasks. Maintenance of equipment, buildings, upgrading the property to match the vision.

Cleaning up poop(oh there’s always LOTS of that to be done!). Helping with events, guest experiences…you name it! You can commit to coming on a regular basis or just walk up to Karl and let him know you’re a ready and willing helper for an hour or so!
